Open Front Fairy Hotel, 2025

This piece is a further iteration of my Closed Fairy Hotel, and was made as a gift for a dear friend. I had learned by this time to use dark clay to reduce the amount of painting I had to do, and I had also developed a new bark texture that I was much happier with.

These fairy hotels bring me so much joy because they are just pure whimsy and delight. They can be used indoor or outdoors as decor or to store all of your most precious tchotchkes.
