Fairy Hotel, 2025

This piece was one of the original jumping off points for the woodland collection. I love experimenting with different forms of ceramics and this was very early in my hand building days. This fairy hotel features my original bark texture and is built from a white clay, requiring a significant amount of underglazing.

The piece is meant to be fully decorative, with holes in the back to string fairy lights through, however I recently had a friend suggest that it could also be used as a small animal condo for their pet rats! That got my brain percolating and you can expect to see more of this idea in my shop soon!
