Custom Memorial Pieces
The loss of a loved one is a profoundly emotional experience. These pieces are handcrafted in full collaboration with you to memorialize your loved one in a way that is meaningful and respectful. I work with all cremated remains, so no matter who you want to remember, human or fur family, I am here to help.
I made the first of these pieces to honour my daughter, Haley and have a piece of her in our home after her ashes were interned. I experimented with many different techniques and ideas before I settled on this design. It was an emotional journey as well as an artistic one and I am so happy with how they turned out. I have gifted many “Haley bowls” to family and friends who have cherished each piece. I would love to work with you to create a piece that can bring you comfort and fits beautifully into your space.
I have added a few glaze samples to my shop, however I have a wide range of glazes available to me and would be happy to provide further colour samples of your choosing. I will be adding more samples to my shop as they are fired. Please note that these items are for decorative purposes only and are not food safe. I recommend wiping with a damp cloth, or handwashing with gentle detergent.
These pieces will range in price depending on size, however typically will range from $50-$90. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of order finalization with the balance due when the piece is ready to ship. Production takes 2-4 weeks from the time I receive your loved one’s remains, which will be treated with the utmost care and respect throughout every step of the process.
Each piece requires approximately 1/4 cup of ashes, and will send any unused amounts back with your order. Canada post has specific requirements when shipping ashes, so please refer to their guidelines. if you are mailing remains from outside of Canada, please check with your carrier for their specific guidelines and ensure a cremation certificate is included so I am able to ship your piece back to you. If you are local to the Metro Vancouver area, we can arrange drop off and pick up of your pieces.
