I am so glad that you have landed here at Emerging Oak Creative. I came to pottery for healing from a deep grief and it has emerged into a beautiful part of my life and my healing journey. Please take some time to look around and get to know me and my work.

The Woodland Collection represents my connection to the hemlock forests of the West Coast of British Columbia. Many of my childhood memories are anchored in the trees and lakes of Golden Ears Provincial Park.

Custom Memorial Pieces

The loss of a loved one is a profoundly emotional experience. I made the first of these memorial pieces to honour my daughter, Haley and have a piece of her in our home after her ashes were interned. It was an emotional journey as well as an artistic one and I am so happy with how they turned out. I have gifted many “Haley bowls” to family and friends who have cherished each piece. I would love to work with you to create a piece that can bring you comfort and fits beautifully into your space.
